The TSR2 rescue is designed for a high launching, mid-low spin, it is designed for players who deliver the club in a sweeping motion. The TSR2 rescue is a good replacement for a long iron as it is more forgiving on off centre strikes. The engineers at Titleist have designed the club with a deeper CG and reimagined sole shape which aids in adding forgiveness and improved turf interactions than previous predecessors. The TSR2 rescue features head weight adjustability which is the same as the driver and fairway.
Reimagined Shaping and Profiles
The TSR2 rescue is designed in the classic hybrid shape. The hybrid shape has been slighlty lengthened which helps in shifting the impact centre further from the shaft. This helps to increase face flex, this results in more speed and forgiveness.
Deeper, More Forgiving CG & High Inertia Body
Titleist have pushed the CG deeper whilst keeping it low. This means that the engineers have been able to get a high launching, soft landing approach with maximum forgiveness.
Faster through the Rough
The added sole relief pockets in the TSR hybrids are designed to move faster through all rough conditions. Less surface area means less friction and chamnce to grab, also resulting in smooth turf interaction from the fairway.
