Taylormade have once again raised the bar for forgiving irons. The Stealth HD iron has been designed for ease of use and will suit a golfer who wants a high launching, draw bias iron. Taylormade have incorporated a low profile, shallow face height and a wide sole to lower the CG to allow for easier launch and forgiveness. Similar to the standard Stealth irons, it features the Cap Back design which utilises ultralight polymers and strong stainless steel to improve face flex and optimise energy transfer for higher ball speeds and distance. The Cap Back design also wraps around the toe to deliver forgiveness and incredible ball speeds even on off centre strikes.
In most forgiving irons, you will sacrifice feel for forgiveness. However, the Stealth HD irons incorporates an Echo Dampening System which uses a polymer blend across multiple contact points, minimising harsh vibrations creating a forged like feel.
In an ideal world, every golfer would strike the ball out of the middle of the club face every shot. However, this doesn’t happen. Therefore, the Taylormade Stealth HD iron features the tried and tested thru-slot speed pocket, which enable more face flex on low face strikes.
