Expanding the Modern Shape of Stability

The Taylormade Spider GT Max is a whole new design of putter. It provides new elements in adjustability, performance and moveable weights. The new shape maintains features of the iconic spider design and features iconic Taylormade technology such as Truth Path, all with new elements such as a moveable weight to optimise performance.

Lightweight Aluminium Cap

The putter has been designed using lightweight materials such as 6061 Aluminium, which allows more weight to be transferred to the outside of the frame.

Sliding weight Back

The putter has a 98g weight which is manufactured from stainless steel that allows the heavy tungsten weights to be moved independently to create different performance settings. Position One has the deepest CG with high stability and less face rotation. Position Two has minimal face rotation and increased toe hang. Position Three has the most face rotation and increased toe hang.

Tungsten Weights

There are two 40g tungsten weights which are positioned on the heel and toe side of the putter which can slide up and down to find the right performance setting for the player.

Pure Roll Insert

The Taylormade GT Max putter has a firmer co-molded insert, which is manufactured out of black TPU urethane with silver aluminium beams at a 45 degree angle to improve top spin off the face.

True Path Alignment

The putter has a white space in the centre which helps frame the ball and create a path to the hole.
