The Taylormade P790 irons come fitted as standard with the True Temper Dynamic Gold steel shaft, regular flex is the 95 version which is lighter weight and the stiff and extra stiff come in the 105 version. The P790 irons have a forged hollow body to offer an incredible amount of forgiveness and accuracy on miss-hits, a new internal sound bar delivers outstanding feel and feedback with every shot. Ultra light SpeedFoam Air injected into to the clubhead further enhances the sound and playability.

New FLTD CG technology adjusts the centre of gravity to suit each individual irons, lower CG in the longer clubs to help get the ball airbourne and increase forgiveness whilst the short irons have it shifted higher for greater control. This gives you help where its needed most and offers much better stability and ball flight in your scoring clubs.

An advanced thick-thin construction unique to the P790 allows the engineers to redistribute the weight to enhance the performance, every iron in the set is uniquely redesigned so that every ounce of weight is working hard to make your shots better every time. Up to 38g of tungsten helps to deliver perfect launch conditions for every iron.
