I only play 36 holes once or twice a year, do I need to buy a 36 hole battery?
The new batteries are more powerful than ever and we have heard of customers managing to get 2 rounds out of an 18 hole battery, (giving it a quick charge between rounds) but we would recommend investing in the extended battery if playing 36 is a possibility for you.
Does it have a distance function where you can send it off for a set distance before stopping?
No, the FX3 does not have this feature - consider upgrading to the FX5 or FX7
How long does the battery take to charge and can I leave it on charge permanently?
It takes around 5 hours to reach full charge, leaving it on charge will not necessarily damage the battery but it should be disconnected when it has reached full charge. Don't forget to turn the battery off when disconnected.
How easy is it set up the FX3?
The FX range is one of the easiest electric trolleys to set up on the market, a simple one click folding action takes seconds to set up and fold away
Will it accomodate any golf bag?
The FX range has strong rubber bungee straps capable of holding almost any bag in place, it will be an advantage if your bag has the keylock anti twist cutaway on the base. Most of the top brands in golf have been offering this feature on many of their trolley bags for some years now.
Worth looking at one of the latest Powakaddy bags with Maglock feature which is compatible with this trolley and allows the removal of the bottom strap, replacing it with a magnet on the base (supplied with golf bag). Quickly and easily slots on securely.
