How to charge your Powakaddy electric golf trolley

You should charge your Powakaddy lithium battery before storage and store it in a cool and dry place at room temperature. Ideally, charge the battery every three months after this. The following instructions will help ensure you get optimum charging and maximum battery life.

1. Simply plug your charger into the mains. You will see the indicator light switches from red to green. Switch on the battery by pressing and holding the power button by which time the green light is fully illuminated.

2. Plug your battery into the charger and the indicator light turns from green to red to indicate the charging process has begun.

3. When the battery is completely charged the indicator light turns to a continuous green signal and the charger and battery should be disconnected from the mains at this point.
The entire charge process takes around eight hours but does depend on how full the battery was at the start of the procedure. You should not leave your battery on charge for longer than 12 hours at a time.
Your battery should be switched off during transportation as this will avoid any accidental discharge of power.

How to assemble the Powakaddy front wheel

Upon receiving your new Powakaddy trolley it can be set up out of the box and ready to go in seconds. The main wheels will need to be fitted which just require a press of the button on the hubcap to be able to slide them on to the axle, there are 2 notches on the axle which will keep them in place. The inner most notch will engage the wheel onto the bearings to allow the motor to drive it, the outer notch is there in case you ever find yourself with a battery that has not been charged sufficiently as this allows the wheels to sit away from the bearing and free wheel so you can push it much easier. The FX models will also require the front wheel to be fitted and attached with the enclosed 2 screws, this is only necessary for first time out. The CT6 models have a quick release front wheel which just requires a touch of the yellow button to release.
