Pulling a heavy golf trolley can have a negative effect on your swing due to the twisting motion on your back, exaggerating any aches and pains you may already have. As well as enabling thousands of golfers that suffer from illness or disability to be able to play the sport that they love, electric trolleys have also proved to be a huge advantage for the fit and young players too.

The CT6 range is ultra-compact at 20% smaller than the previous model. You can be ready for every eventuality and take as much equipment as you like in your golf bag – the trolley will do all of the hard work for you. You won’t fatigue from pulling a heavy trolley, meaning you can keep your stamina and concentration through the entire round of golf and remain 100% on your game - for the entire game.

It has a new improved two-stage folding mechanism, making it easy for you to set up and get going. The upgraded lithium battery is the thinnest and lightest on the market, and all models come with a battery fuel indicator and USB charging port so you will never unknowingly run out of power.

The Powakaddy CT6 GPS EBS also has a built-in GPS rangefinder and EBS braking system, so your game of golf couldn’t be easier.

Does the CT6 have GPS?

There are GPS models within the range but not every CT6 has GPS. Look for the CT6 GPS or the CT6 GPS EBS that also has the electronic braking system built in. GPS means it has a fully functioning distance measuring device/rangefinder built into the handle for ulitmate convenience.

How do I use the GPS?

The GPS models are incredibly easy to use. Just turn it on and it will search for the course you are on and away you go. It offers pinpoint accurate yardages to the front, middle and back of the green as well as about 4 hazards per hole. It is completely fee-free to use and contains over 40,000 worldwide courses which can be updated in years to come. Updates are only really necessary if a course alters its structure significantly changing locations of hazards or greens etc.

How do I Charge a Powakaddy CT6?

The trolley comes with the latest technology 30v battery and charger, simply remove the battery from the CT6 and switch the battery on by holding the button on the top for a second or 2 until it lights up. It is then ready to be connected to the charger which has a 3 colour connecting plug which goes into the matching colour socket on the underneath of the battery - don't worry it will only go in one way so you can't get the connection wrong. Depending on how much charge is left it takes about 4-6 hours to fully charge at which point the charger light goes green, at this point disconnect it and turn the battery off to store until you next play. Should you not be using it for some months it is a good idea to top the charge up now and again so it is always stored in a fully charged state.

How do you change the time on the Powakaddy CT6?

To enter the settings menu plug in the battery and turn its power on by pushing the button at the top of the battery, then hold both the left and right function buttons on the handle down for 3 seconds. The software version will be displayed and the clock will appear flashing in the top left, use the power dial of the trolley (large middle circular button) to change each digit and press the button each time you have the right number up. Once you have changed all 4 digits the time will go solid and is now set. It has a built in small battery in the handle which keeps the time when the trolley is not in use

How do I adjust the steering of the CT6?

There is a front wheel adjustment that will allow you to fine tune how the trolley steers. Simply pull the handle lever on the side and then adjust the small dial on the other side of the front wheel, moving it in either direction will cause the trolley to pull to one side until you get it running perfectly straight. It should be set correctly from the factory but please bear in mind your bag could influence the trolley to favour one side throwing the steering off slightly.

How do I make it ultra compact to fold it away?

You can remove each of the 2 main wheels and spin them around and re-fit, because the wheels are inverted this makes the trolley ultra compact. Worth noting there are 2 types of travel cover for the CT6, the standard one will take the trolley with the wheels facing in or out and the summer travel cover is that bit smaller and needs the wheels to be inverted after use to fit

When did the CT6 come out?
