The custom engineered Glide Forged Pro wedge has a more compact, forged 8620 carbon steel head and precision machined grooves for a consistent result every time. The new face increases spin and control with an expanded range of lofts and sole grinds to find the one that best suits your game.
The Glide Forged Pro wedge comes with many incredible features to help your short game become even better:
Tour Inspired to Inspire All
The Glide Forged Pro wedge appeals to players who want precise and consistent shot making around the green. This was achieved by using tour staff players who conferred with the Ping engineers to design the best wedge they can.
Compact Profile, Captured Look
By using a smaller heel-to-toe head which is forged from 8620 carbon steel to create captured look at address. This allows the player to manipulate the shot and execute any type of shot with maximum versatility for consistent results.
Friction Face
The Glide Forged Pro wedge is able to increase spin and lower launch thanks to the precision milled face and new face blast. These two combined creates friction and more interaction between the ball and club. The Hydropearl 2.0 chrome finish allows for consistent results from wet and rough conditions.
Eye2 Toe 59 Degree
The Ping Eye2 wedge face profile inspired the S grind 59 degree option. This design was made popular thanks to Karsten Solheim's iconic Wedge design in the early 80's. The wedge features a blended hosel with a traditional sole design with 1.5 degrees less bounce than the other S grinds.
Fit To Your Game
Two grind options are available. These options are 'S' and 'T'. With multiple lofts available with these grinds, you are able to find a wedge to match your angle of attack and most common playing conditions.
Lighter, More Control
The PING Z-Z115 wedge provides a lower launch with more control and enhanced feel. By combining a lighter shaft and grip, this contributes to an overall weight reduction for the entire club.
