The Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K range has an all new putter construction for a shift in putter performance. On the blade design, Odyssey have moved the Centre of Gravity positioning forward and used new materials that have not been utilised in a putter. The Tri-Hot 5K blade putters have been designed using stainless steel, tungsten, and 6061 aircraft grade aluminium. All these materials have been crafted together to re-invent what a blade putter can do.
Odyssey then focussed on their designs for the mallet Tri-Hot 5K. Odyssey have raised the head's inertia whilst also moving the Centre of Gravity forward. The result makes the mallet putters better performing as well as being more forgiving on off centre strikes. Odyssey have been able to achieve this by utilising large amounts of tungsten which developed an exceptionally high inertia level which allows for incredible forgiveness, all while being able to move the Centre of Gravity closer to the face.
The work from Odyssey engineers in the Tri-Hot 5K range promotes improved speed performance, spin control and a consistency in speed on off centre hits.
High Performance and Tight Dispersion from Stainless Steel Front
The Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K range is able to improve performance on off centre strikes. Off centre strikes create side spin which results in putts missing the hole, Odyssey have been able to reduce the amount of side spin which keeps putts closer to the intended line, meaning there will be more of a chance of the putt going in. Odyssey have been able to achieve this by using a 303 stainless steel front section which includes the hosel and the face area. The back section of the putter has been precision milled to the exact right weight and shape, which helps in keeping the CG forward.
Improved Forgiveness and Improved Roll from Tungsten Front Weights
Odyssey have positioned up to 120g of tungsten behind the face in the heel and toe sections of the club. This allows the user to have more control on the path of their stroke. By adding these large weights the Centre of Gravity in the putter have been moved forward, which means that users can expect to have a much better roll. This level of improved performance, is not only seen in the blade putters but also the mallets as well.
Interchangeable Front Weights
The Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K range offer interchangeable front weights so each golfer can find a specific weight which works best for them. The available weights are 5, 10, 15 and 20 grams.
Red Stroke Lab Shaft
The Red Stroke lab from Odyssey has been reinvented with multi-materials to feature even better performance. The Red Stroke Lab shafts have become very well known in golf thanks to many wins by tour professionals.
Comes supplied with a matching Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K headcover.
