The Mizuno JPX 925 Hot Metal HL Irons are designed for maximum distance with maximum height. Best suited for mid-to-high handicap golfers, the JPX 925 Hot Metal HL is a maximum forgiveness speed cavity iron, giving golfers the confidence to hit extremely high-launching iron shots that land soft into greens. With slightly higher lofts than the Hot Metal, the HL model helps golfers launch the ball and achieve a higher peak height with ease. The re-engineered multi-thickness face profile is 30% thinner than the previous generation. The Contour Ellipse amplifies ball speeds on centre strikes while ensuring maximum speed retention throughout the impact zone. Tungsten is placed low in the 4-7 irons to aid in launching the ball higher for more consistent carry distances throughout the bag and an optimised landing angle. A one-piece Cup Face geometry with thinned areas revolving 360 degrees around the perimeter increases the rebound area for maximum ball speed across the entire face for greater consistency.
