The Cobra Air-X Fairway Wood is designed for effortless speed and great feel for beginner to mid handicap golfers who have a smooth swing tempo. The Air-X range is super lightweight, featuring a carbon crown, lightweight shaft and grip. The Air-X fairway also incorporates a combination of back/heel weighting along with an offset hosel to improve stability for off centre strikes and promotes a draw bias for anyone who suffers with a slice.
- Lightweight Design: Incorporating a lighter head, shaft (48 grams) and grip (41 grams) which makes the club easier to swing and feel much lighter.
- Carbon Crown: Utilising a lighter carbon crown material allowed Cobra to remove an extra 2 grams of weight from the head, making the club feel significantly lighter in comparison to a traditional fairway.
- Heel and Back weighting: The weight is distributed in the back and the heel of the Air X Fairway Wood, this helps to create stability on off centre strikes and also provides a draw bias for the player who suffers from a slice.
- Offset Design: The hosel is set to offset, which again promotes draw bias to eliminate a players slice and allow for straighter and more accurate shots.
The Cobra Air X Fairway Wood comes with the Cobra Ultralite shaft as the stock standard. This shaft is only 55 grams and helps to promote a higher ball flight. The shaft is designed for players with smooth swing tempos.
