The Cobra Air-X range is designed for the beginner to mid-handicap golfer and recommended for those with smoother swing speeds up to 90mph. The head, shaft, and grip are constructed to make every swing feel effortless due to its lightweight properties. Weighing in at only 277 grams, the Air-X is approximately 50 grams lighter than traditional drivers. This helps to deliver the club with better timing and creates a sensation of effortless speed. The blend of offset and heel weighting encourages a straighter ball flight for those who struggle with fading or slicing the ball too much.
Cobra Air-X Driver Features:
- LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN: Using a lighter head, shaft (48g) and grip (37g) makes the club feel significantly lighter and easier to swing compared to a traditional driver.
- CARBON CROWN: Using a lighter carbon crown material, we were able to remove an additional 2 grams of weight from the head.
- BACK/HEEL WEIGHTING: Weight is localized in the back and heel to create stability on off center hits with draw bias for those that need it.
- OFFSET DESIGN: In addition to heel weighting, a new hosel design with 20% more offset helps to further eliminate a golfers' slice so they can find more fairways.
