The CB Wedge features a cavity back design to offer a more forgiving shape at address and improves playability for different types of wedge shots. The larger head size and grooves across the face further contribute to instilling confidence in golfers. The sole of the CB Wedge has a pre-worn leading-edge, acting as a skid plate to prevent excessive digging into the ground. This helps golfers avoid unwanted turf interaction, particularly on tighter lies or firmer conditions. The wedge is also equipped with higher bounce, providing additional forgiveness by helping the club glide through the turf more smoothly.

Premium Feel with Urethane Microspheres

The CB Wedge is the first Callaway wedge to incorporate Urethane Microspheres. These microspheres are strategically placed behind the striking area of the face and serve to enhance the feel and sound at impact, resulting in a satisfying and responsive sensation.

Aggressive Spin & Enhanced Control from JAWS Grooves

The CB Wedge features Callaway's JAWS grooves, which are designed to be the most aggressive grooves in golf. These grooves are treated with a face blast to increase surface roughness on the face to maximise spin on short shots around the green. The grooves extend across the face on 54-60 degree lofts, ensuring consistent groove-to-ball contact regardless of where the ball strikes the face.
