Odyssey ProType Tour Series #7 Putter
The Odyssey ProType Tour Series #7 mallet head putter is produced with a 1025 carbon steel head which performs similarly to stainless steel but with a softer feel. A sharper, deeper pattern on the face of the putter increases friction between the face and the ball at the address, allowing a more precise strike and thus a more controlled and consistent roll. The putter head design has been optimized with the shaft length following consultation with Tour professionals. Slightly heavier heads are used to allow more control and accuracy in the putt. The high polish satin finish provides a contemporary twist to a traditional look.
The Odyssey ProType Tour Series #7 Putter uses a Lamkin 3Gen Pistol Grip which is a thinner grip than your average putter for the more experienced player. It is constructed from a rubber compound which reduces vibration through the club and allows more relaxation in your stroke. A lighter pressure is required on the grip, leading to smoother and much more consistent strokes.
