It is fully functioning and comes supplied with a brand new USB cable and AC wall charger adaptor. Skycaddie are clearly the number one brand on the market for GPS rangefinders and its the brand that all our staff play and recommend.
Skycaddie are the only company to have ground mapped every course, this means they have sent a professional to every course with a GPS backpack which is the only way to ensure that every yardage is accurate. Almost every other rangefinder on the market have got their yardages from either Google Earth or aerial photos, often without even visiting the UK!
The mapping will often include more information than just hazards etc such as ideal lay-up points for the hole. Also by paying your annual fee any changes that are made to the course (change of layout or new bunkers etc) will quickly be updated ensuring that the information in your unit is spot on.
Finally Skycaddie have a UK based call centre so in the event of any problems they are quickly able to resolve any issues you may have. We have learnt from experience that other brands either have no back up available or are based overseas which leaves them lagging behind Skycaddie in this department.
