The superbly engineered Powakaddy Sport trolley combines the latest lightweight and super strength materials with a powerful 200 watt motor. It is very stable, easy to manoeuvre and folds in a no-fuss, 3 way movement to fit into the smallest of car boots. This is the standard lead acid battery version of the Powakaddy sport which comes in a choice of the lightweight 18 hole or larger 36 hole battery.
The Powakaddy Sport features a fantastic new ergonomic soft grip handle, built-in responsive speed control roller with a choice of 9 speeds, a soft touch standby switch, and a separate Digital Distance Function (DDF) button allowing direct access to this feature.

There are 2 other versions of the Powakaddy Sport golf trolley-
The PowaKaddy SPORT Lithium features a high tech and extremely stylish lithium battery which is 75% lighter than standard. It comes in a choice of two colours – Graphite and White.
The PowaKaddy SPORT Lithium EBS- comes with all the functionality of the PowaKaddy SPORT Lithium but with the additional Electronic Braking System. In the EBS mode the EBS system produces a resistive force counteracting the pull from the trolley when travelling downhill giving you greater control. There are three levels of progressive braking for varying gradients. It comes in a choice of two colours – Graphite and White.
Choosing the right battery with your Powakaddy Sport
The Sport comes as standard with a 20amp 18 hole battery but can be upgraded to the 36 hole version for an extra charge. The 36 hole battery is 11.6kg approx whereas the 18 hole is 6.7kg, it also has almost twice the depth in size. We would normally advise that in order to get a decent lifespan from the bigger battery you need to play 36 holes reasonably regularly, probably at least 6-8 times a year.
The alternative is to invest in a 2nd slimline battery which although works out more expensive it does give you the option of alternating the batteries during normal rounds and therefore if treated correctly should give longer life from both.

The Powakaddy Sport is a stunning new trolley from Powakaddy it has the sturdy lightweight frame and oversize handle grip that featured on the Freeway II but has much improved, simplified controls. It features an on/off button but crucially has the favoured dial speed control which gives much greater flexibility to set and maintain required speed this is because the dial allows fine adjustment of desired speed.
The dial control is designed to suit left or right handed golfers and is very easy to control. We have been very impressed with the reliability of this trolley and the Sport is also one of the sturdiest and most powerful electric golf trolleys on the market.

I have had electric trolleys now for over 10 years and this is by far the best I've had. Its very easy to use, powerful and also very lightweight so easy to fold away and put into the boot and much better for my back!!

Much improved on my friends freway 2, controls are much easier to use and my Sport trolley seemed to have more power. Has a very comfortable handle and love the distance function.

Just received my new Sport- thanks for the speedy delivery. Used it for 1st time today and am very impressed, still had real power coming up the last and coped with my overloaded bag no problem. the controls are very user friendly and a real step up on my old powakaddy legend. Found it a joy to use

The Powakaddy Sport is one of the most robust and powerful electric trolleys on the market. It is incredibly stable as the battery sits right in the middle of the chassis which is strengthened with oversize tubing.
