Now that the 'leaked' pictures are appearing online of the new for 2013 Taylormade R1 driver and the new Taylormade RBZ stage 2 range it has got people jumping around with the usual questions of when and how much.

We expect the Taylormade R1 driver to arrive with us around the beginning of February 2013 along with RBZ stage 2 at the same time.

The Taylormade R1 will arrive only in a driver and priced around the £300 mark give or take. We think that it is only coming in a driver is because of the popularity of last years RBZ fairway woods and them being probably the most successful selling fairway wood ever.

The new Taylormade RBZ stage 2 is coming as the full family. The driver, fairway wood and rescue. The Taylormade RBZ stage 2 fairway wood is coming in both a glued or adjustable option. We believe this is why the Taylormade R1 won't have a matching fairway. The Taylormade RBZ stage 2 Rescue club will come as a standard glued club. Both Taylormade R1 and RBZ stage 2 ranges will be supplied with matching covers branding the new logos.

We expect Taylormade to have continued success with the R1 and RBZ stage 2 ranges and take off from where they left off from 2012.

So far this years to selling Christmas present has been the Golfbuddy
Platinum GPS rangefinder.

This is the latest in Golfbuddys range and also the most advanced. The
Golfbuddy Platinum comes fully loaded with thousands of courses taken
from the 28,000 that have been fully mapped. The Platinum has a
40,000-course memory so there’s no change of filling it up. Golfbuddy
uses a professional team to map the courses by foot. The yardages are
very accurate and precise which is essential for a keen golfer looking

The Golfbuddy Platinum has a crystal clear responsive touch screen

touch on the screen it will give you how far from the tee and how far
it will leave to the centre of the green. You can work out the layup
distances on the longer holes and leave your favourite club/yardage.
Also you will leave yourself no doubt if you can carry that bunker or
ditch from the tee.

in regulation, sand saves, fairways hit and also putts. This is a
great feature that only comes with the Platinum model in the Golfbuddy

For golfers searching for a lightweight, fuctional, robust, sturdy, non electric trolley, look no further than the Powakaddy Twinline 3. With the twinline 3’s easy folding up and down design it makes itself a very easy compact trolley to use and store away.

Most other non electric trolleys are made far to complicated as other brands have tried to make them fold away even smaller. The twinline 3 folds up and down in just 3 clicks once you have locked the front wheel into posititon.

The front wheel brings us onto the next reason as to why this is such a great selling trolley.

The twinline 3 is designed to be pushed not pulled, this is far more benificial for the golfer as its easier and with less strain on the body. Most non electric golf trolleys seen today are push because of this fact. The twinline 3 feature low profile, high performance wheels that have raised centre treads which make it easier to push with a load as they have a low resistance. It will just glide through any turf condition in all weathers. The wheels are very practical as they are easily removed for cleaning or so it can fit into tight spaces, for example the car boot and in the garage.

Once the twinline 3 has been folded into position the golfer can adjust the height of the handle to suit.  A feature of the twinline 3 is that the handle is telescopic, this makes it very user friendly as men, women and junior golfers can fix the trolley to their hieght.

Another adjustment would be the top bag clamp, this clamp can move up and down the handle so any golf bag will fit the twinline 3 very well. Next simply clip the bag into position at the bottom of the trolley using the lower bag bracket and tighten the strap.

Another useful feature is the weatherproof scorecard holder that has clips for golf balls, maker, tees and pencil. It allows easy quick access to your scorecard and a stable postioning to write your score down comfortably. Secondly twinline 3 trolleys have a universal soft grip handle that the golfer can grip using either their left or right hand. It is wide enough to place both hands on if preferred.

the Twinline 3 trolleys have a socket for an umbrella holder can be fitted to either side. On each side of the handle are removable plugs where the powakaddy twinline 3 umbrella holder can be screwed into place. This is fantastic as the golfer can now keep their bag and themselves dry in the rain, also eliminating having to hold their umbrella.

PLEASE NOTE THE UMBRELLA HOLDER WILL ONLY FIT TWINLINE 3 TROLLEYS PURCHASED FROM THE YEAR 2009 ONWARDS. UMBRELLA HOLDERS ARE PURCHASED SEPERATELY.

Having purchased several products over the years from Galvin Green this year I was looking for something warmer and waterproof.  Something that maybe would allow me to wear fewer layers but remain dry. After my usual detailed research I came across the new Galvin Green Armon Waterproof Jacket. This new from jacket incorporates the standard Gore-Tex Performance Shell fabric but has a Primaloft Padding for exceptional comfort and also a Insula lining for added warmth.

This is without doubt the most comfortable waterproof jacket that I’ve ever worn. It is a thicker more padded jacket but didn’t restrict me whilst swinging. The added Insula lining for me not only adds warmth but also contributes to the comfort, as it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing a waterproof jacket, which for me is a positive. With the Galvin Green Armon Jacket I can wear just a polo shirt underneath and or a base layer Compression top.

This year here at CompleteGolfer.co.uk we have decided between us that our preferred matching uniform would again be the latest Galvin Green Max shirts. The Max is a slim fitting part cotton and polyester shirt available in several colours. It is not only comfortable to wear but looks nice and smart. We have stuck with our familiar blue colour which is also a popular seller and helps to make us stand out in store. It has although caused a few curious glances from passers by locally who not being golfers often think that its our name emblazoned on the shirt. Takes them a while to realise it must be a popular name!

The Galvin Green Max shirt is one I believe we will continue to wear for a few years to come, maybe changing the colour every year for a bit of variety. One of the key considerations has been just how well these shirts have worn over the last year or so, wearing them every day means they get a good amount of washing and have managed to keep their shape and colour impressively.

The new range of max shirts have also arrived in store and on line and the striking colours have already been a big hit with customers.

Callaway’s Women’s Major Haul in 2012

15 / 08 / 2012

As a company that sponsors the biggest names in women’s golf, Callaway likes to have its representatives winning majors. It’s how they know they’re doing things correctly. If their players aren’t among the major winners then it suggests they are being outsmarted by the likes of Ping, Titleist and Dunlop.

Callaway’s Men’s Major Haul in 2012

15 / 08 / 2012

As a company that prides itself on sponsoring some of the biggest names in golf, Callaway naturally looks at the major successes in a season to see how its equipment has fared. For it is the majors where all the big guns bring their a-games, and where any competitor equipment is most likely to outshine Callaway’s offering in any given season.

How to Make Friends and Lose Majors

25 / 07 / 2012

‘Well done Ernie Els, but Adam Scott is going to be scarred for life,’ were the characteristically to-the-point words spoken by a man who knows a thing or two about winning majors himself, Sir Nick Faldo. Something that Sir Nick knows a little less about, though, is letting them slip from his grasp. During his tenure as the world’s number one golfer, Faldo was notoriously focussed.
