Mizuno Irons - The Range for 2012
>Mizuno JPX800 HD irons
This is probably the easiest to use set of irons that Mizuno have ever made. It features a large wide sole which will launch the ball airbourne with the greatest of ease, its incredibly forgiving and Mizuno have reached new heights of ball speed and power with its high energy cavity.

This Mizuno iron will create a high ball flight and would suit anyone looking for real forgiveness and ease of use. It is available in steel or graphite and both of these are on the lighter end of the market which are again designed to give the ball more lift and greater distance by allowing them to focus the weight as low as possible on the clubhead.

The JPX800 HD pocket cavity has varying thickness and this allows the clubface to flex when struck creating an almost springlike effect. Whats clever about these irons is that the size of the head and the offset is reduced ad you move through to the short irons meaning they are more playable and versatile as there is less need for a high launch and large head with these shorter clubs.

This model is available in Mizuno's usual large selection of custom options however the standard shafts have been carefully selected to offer the best performance for the average player.

A great choice for the serious improver who wants their golf game to move forward and their scores to come down.

>Mizuno JPX800 irons

The Mizuno JPX irons have been one of our best sellers and its popularity stems from its combination of great looks and forgiving sweet spot.

For those golfers who prefer the more traditional look at address but still require ease of use then the JPX800 is a great choice. Unlike the larger chunkier irons on the market these have great looking, playable short irons that become more and more forgiving as you move up to the longer irons. These Mizuno irons feature a lightweight steel shaft as standard which means the weight can be focussed lower down in the clubhead to promote a higher initial launch shot with low spin for better control in all conditions.

Mizuno have aimed this iron to produce 'balanced performance' which sums up its combination of looks and ease of use. They have also used Hot Metal technology which has helped them create a thinner more consistent face which means the ball reacts off it as closely as possible to the legal limits allowed for energy transfer.

The pocket cavity has various levels of thickness which has helped to produce a high MOI for more accurate iron shots from all over the clubface.

The Mizuno JPX 800 long irons are bigger than the short irons and this makes them much easier to use so for an impressive set of irons look no further.

Also available in a wide range of shafts and custom options, call us now if you need any help and advice regarding whats best for you.

>Mizuno JPX800 Pro irons
This is the largest Mizuno grain flow forged irons which means with the JPX 800 Pro you get that unbeatable feel of a forged iron mixed with real forgiveness. It has a more modest offset and thinner topline that the other irons in the JPX range so it will offer a stronger ball flight and a bit more workability to be able to shape your shots.

The JPX pro has a triple cut sole design which makes it more playable from the turf and will offer enhanced performance from the rough and tight lies. Undercut forging has allowed Mizuno to offer high ball speed for increased distance with this iron. Accuracy remains the goal and a more consistent ball flight is offered with a greater degree of control to offer the best performance.

This iron is designed for golfers that love the idea of a more playable, softer feeling iron but need that extra bit of forgiveness. Long irons can also be substituted with the JPX Fli Hi long irons for even more confidence, these are also available in shafts and specs to match your irons.
>Mizuno MP53 Irons
The Mizuno MP 53 irons have been described by Mizuno as their optical illusion. This is because its a bladed style, traditional looking head that is packed full of forgiveness.

The Mizuno MP range of irons are generally aimed for the stronger player who is looking for a powerful ball flight and wants a club that can shape the ball when required. The MP53 still offers that although it will hit it slightly higher than the rest of the MP Mizuno irons. It features a diamond muscle and a pocket cavity that gets deeper and deeper as you move towards the long irons, this means the longer clubs will offer a higher ball flight with a larger sweetspot than the rest of the range.

The short irons in the MP53's are stunning looking clubs, whilst they still have a cavity back and a decent size sweetspot they offer the serious golfer the feel and versatility that we all crave.

The result is a set of irons that cleverly progress through the set to make each iron perform its job to the max. Its a great combination of pure looking golf clubs with an ease of use you would expect in a much chunkier style of club.

It comes fitted with the MP standard shaft which is the True Temper Dynamic Gold and this offers a more accurate and lower ball flight than the lighter weight shafts fitted in the JPX range of irons. All Mizuno latest models are available in a range of custom fit options and choice of shafts , grips etc.

>Mizuno MP59 Irons
This iron features a forged Ti Muscle in the cavity which has allowed Mizuno to redistribute the weight to the outside of the head to offer a larger sweetspot. The Ti (Titanium) muscle back is forged into the head so the club still has all the feel of a one piece design.

The Mizuno MP59 still has a strong ball flight (inbetween the MP53 and 63) and retains the workability of a blade style club. The Mp59 has stunning looks and the short irons are particularly impressive.  The technology behind the Ti cavity design makes the clubhead more stable so it is less resistant to twisting with off centre strikes, thats an attribute not normally associated with this style of iron.

These Mizuno irons can be combined with the MP Fli Hi long iron replacements to offer an even greater level of forgiveness and the shafts can be matched up to your requirements.

Fitted with the Dynamic Gold shaft in choice of flexes which has been chosen for its ball flight and control characteristics.
>Mizuno MP63 Irons
Now we are moving to the real purists style of golf club, designed to feel and play like a blade the MP63 has been a real hit on the tour.

Whilst this Mizuno iron offers you many of the advantages of a blade it also has a cavity back which gets deeper as you move through to the long irons, the head size also slightly increases to offer a more forgiving and easier to use version of the classic blade. The benefits of this style of club will become very clear after a few rounds- it offers a strong, penetrating ball flight and shot-making workability. The feel of the soft grain flow forged heads is superbly responsive and offers the sort of control the tour players insist on.

The irons feature Mizuno's 360 degree trailing edge to make playing from tight lies and out of the rough much easier. Mizuno's forging process starts with a lump of  mild carbon steel which is heated and then hammered into the required shape. The result is a much purer metal which does not have the air bubbles and inconsistencies associated with cast golf clubs.

The predecessor was the MP62 irons which was one of Mizuno's best ever selling iron and their staff players such as Luke Donald played a large part in its design. The improvements made in the new Mizuno MP63 irons have been a real hit with these players as well.

All the latest Mizuno irons can be tailor made to your specification, this means they are available in a range of different lengths and lie angles as well as a choice of grips and shafts to meet your needs. All our custom made Mizuno irons are ordered directly from Mizuno in the UK.
