The GolfBuddy World is incredibly quick to use and there are no annual fees or download fees at all, it plays right out of the box and its features include-

50 satellite receiver
This ensures the unit always receives a good signal even in built up areas and under trees, course and hole recognition means it can be used straight out of the box as it has global courses preloaded. It can also be easily connected to your PC to get updated course information and can hold up to 40,000 courses.

TouchPoint instant distance measurement
Golfbuddy's new technology gives an overhead view of the hole much like a course planner, its interactive which means simply touching the screen at any point of the hole will give you a pinpoint yardage to that spot from where you stand and also how far that point will leave to the green.

Touch and move
This feature of the Golfbuddy world allows you to move the flag on the green display to where you think the pin is and then gives you a measurement to that spot.

Dynamic green approach
The GolfBuddy World gives you exact yardages to the front, middle and back of the green and all calculated from your exact angle of approach.

Instant hazard view
As well as the overhead view the world GPS rangefinder will also give an easy to use list of all the hazards on the hole clearly by name and showing yardages to each one from where you stand. You can also record your own hazards and lay-ups for use next time you play the same course.

Shot distance measuring
Features the capability to measure your shots at the touch of a button, invaluable in getting to know your personal yardages for each club as well as measuring your best tee shots.

Stableford scoring
The GolfBuddy world will also record scores for one person and will even calculate stableford scores for you which can be stored online for reference.

Pro-Play game statistics
This feature lets you store your game stats for the round i.e fairways hit or missed, greens in regulation, sand saves and putts taken. The information can be uploaded online to learn your strengths and weaknesses.
